What a Pluncket visit today! Just completely made my day and my whole depressing week!

Today I took Isaac to his last visit at Pluncket. The next one would be just before he goes to school.

After checking everything by an experienced nurse, he is well tracking physically. Another month to go , he will turn 2. He was super active and trying to answer any questions thrown at him and at the same time exploring anything new in the room.

He has always been very talkative as we all know, as soon as he opens his mouth. The teacher was flabbergasted. She just couldn't believe how well he has spoken and how well his reaction to her questions.

One word to summarize, amazing!

Yes, my work this week hasn't been that great but he has completely made my week! love you Isaac.

steam

How can a nearly 2 year old associate the steam from the steam mop to the steam on the car window? I'm  flabbergasted.

counting in Chinese

One day in the car on the way home, I heard Isaac talking to himself in a very clear Chinese tone counting numbers from 1 to 10, followed by "Chicken!" I so wish I had recorded that. Then laughed at us both. I thought I should really correct him as Chinese and Chicken are completely unrelated. We thought was hilarious though.

He loves singing and now can sing  the whole twinkle twinkle little star song. Plus a pop song called " I will wait" by Mumford and Sons which is played on the radio at the moment. Not the whole song, just one line" I will wait and I will wait for you" . This is very funny.

Leonard  is one of his fav app on Ipad now since I bought him the full app. He used to like the free trial, now he loves the whole app. it is funny but not that educational.

A boy full of imagination

Another 2 more moths, my little man will turn to 2!How exciting. I have noticed recently that his imagination has reached another level!

Yesterday we took him to the swimming pool and the life guard gave us a board for the kid. As soon as he sees it, he started pushing it along and saying " ship"!  I thought I must write these precious moments down before we can't remember anything.

He is also very good at 26 letters now and loves singing and dancing. We often have music playing in the car and he would try his best to follow the lyrics. Especially the last few words of a line , he will definitely catch that. It really cracks me up.

One day on the way home in the car, it must have been when he just learnt the letters, he actually read out the letters on the signage! We were both shocked as it just came out of nowhere. Now he even reads the road sign on the ground upside down!. I'm not to be exaggerating or anything, but I think this boy really has something going for him. Our job is to ensure he grows up that way not only on the intelligence (IQ) side but also the emotional side ( EQ).

Love you lots son!
